Come and learn how to embroider and create a unique hand stitched tote bag in this beginner's embroidery workshop.
You will be taught some basic embroidery stitches, learn how to transfer a design and how to use hoops, split threads and much more!
Each participant will be provided with a plain tote bag to stitch as well as a selection of embroidery threads, needles, needle threader and embroidery hoop. You may not finish the bag in the class but we will provide all the supplies for you to take home and finish the project in the comfort, embroidery is a craft you can take your time with!
You will also receive a TMA workshop pack and some refreshments and snacks to help in the crafting process. Bliss! There will also be an opportunity to purchase extra threads and embroidery supplies at the class.
Your host Ruth is a passionate and experienced crafter, enjoying all mediums of craft and design and always learning more! Ruth is also the owner of The Make Arcade so you are in safe hands! Ruth loves to hear about other people's crafting projects and is encouraging and enthusiastic in teaching beginners and believes that anyone can DIY!
