Enjoy this creative and inspirational workshop, led by Helen Southwell of The Glass Room.

Explore the wonderful world of glass with friends or colleagues; experiment with a variety of techniques and materials and produce wonderful glass items.

This next steps class will guide you through the process of making at least 2 items of glass art, learning to safely cut and assemble a variety of glass such as sheet glass, frits , ribbons and stringers.  There will also be the opportunity to experiment with glass paints and metal inclusions in your designs to make your own fused glass creations.

Choice of projects to include: Hanging Suncatcher | Tealight | Trinket Dish | Coaster | Swizzle Stick Set | Plant Pot Decoration | S-wave | Curved Panel | Garden Pot Stick | Glass Bunting

At the end of the session, Helen will take these to be fired to a smooth finish in the kiln and be ready for collection 3-4 days later. (items can be posted for an additional charge)

All abilities welcome, no prior experience necessary, all materials provided.
