Make your own Kokedama - Friday 14th July
Date: Friday 14th July 2017
Time: 7.30pm -9.30pm
In this workshop you will learn how to create your own easy-to-keep but totally beautiful indoor Kokedama arrangement. Kokedama translates from Japanese to “moss ball” and its the practice of freeing a plant and its roots from its container, surrounding it in a mud cake and wrapping it in moss before winding around string, to suspend it from a ceiling to create an amazing hanging garden.
This workshop is hosted by Charlotte Gale from ‘Botanic Tribe’, a local plant and lifestyle brand. As well as showng you how to make your Kokedama, Charlotte will be on hand with tips on bringing the outdoors in and how to make the most of your indoor plants.
All materials and plants are supplied along with refreshments. You will be working with plants and soil so this can get a little messy - you may like to bring an apron.
Botanic Tribe are a Salisbury based indie business who sell a curious collection of houseplants and greenery gifts, homewares, and our quirky botanical-theme prints, stationery and accessories. The products are either designed and made in-house - in their Wiltshire studio, or are created or grown by a carefully selected handful of trusted UK and European suppliers.
