Happy New Year! Hope you are ready to learn to sew or try some new sewing projects this year! After a few weeks of festive activities and necessary admin I can't wait to get the sewing machine out and stitch up some new projects and samples for the workshop projects!
The workshops start two weeks tomorrow (yippee!) and we are kicking of with the ever popular 'Sew a Frame Purse'. This workshop has run a few times in the past 18 months and everyone loves it. Most people attend it as they are keen to learn how to attach the metal frames to the fabric purse bodies. This workshop totally demystifies the technique and you'll be hooked! Past attendees of this workshop have been in touch to show me pictures of other purses they have made, variations on the theme and gone on to sell them. They are a great make and easy when you know how, also a great project to take you from beginner to pro'.
This workshop runs on Wednesday 21st January and its an 'after work' session of 6.30pm - 9pm at the Fisherton Mill in Salisbury. All the fabrics and equipment are provided and i'll also throw in some cake (hello!) for the bargain price of £30.00. I will also be bringing along some trim ideas, if we have time we'll rustle some up too...
