Here we are, another year has passed and we are marking International Womens Day and the #balanceisbetter campaign. As a tribute to the day I stitched up a little quote from a favourite book that I recently re-read by all round legend Caitlin Moran. At the end of the book, Caitlin writes a letter to her daughter who was about to turn 13, and the points in it really resonated with me as a nearly 38 year old woman.
"Babyist, see as many sunrises and sunsets as you can. Run across roads to smell fat roses. Always believe you can change the world - even if it's only a tiny bit, because every tiny bit needed someone who changed it."
The life and times we live in can be overwhelming but we can all do our bit to make it easier for future generations of women and men.
