I have some exciting news to share about The Make Arcade and where it's heading next. From today (1st July 2025), The Make Arcade is changing to focus on a cross stitch subscription box and limited edition craft kits!
I’m thrilled to announce our brand new monthly subscription, Stitch Mail. A cross stitch subscription box that delivers a fun, colourful project straight to your door every month. It's been designed to enable you to swap scrolling for stitching and to make cross stitch your favourite daily habit. There will be new designs and cute features like printed aida, tools and accessories (check out the hanger in the picture below). The first box sign-ups open Monday 7th July and there will be an opening offer so mark your calendars! I can't wait to share more - watch this space.
Over the next year, I’ll be concentrating on Stitch Mail and a handful of special product launches, like our best-selling Craftvent Calendars, which will be back for Christmas 2025, and possibly a few one-off craft kits to keep your creativity flowing. I do have a very exciting something up my sleeve but you'll have to wait a little bit longer for that one.
Why the change?
The past few years have been tough for small businesses like mine. Sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees and it's overwhelming to make a decision. It's scary to make changes but that fear can make you feel alive - so I feel like this is the right thing to do! I wanted to pivot The Make Arcade and focus on what makes me happiest - designing cross stitch kits and bringing you inspiring, easy-to-make projects. Cross stitch has always been a customer favourite and my personal passion, so it’s time to give it the spotlight it deserves. It's really given me some calm moments over the past couple of years...
